Before we can finalize your account and grant you access to invest, you must complete the short KYC (Know Your Customer) form. This is in addition to completing the ID and bank account verification.
If you add money to your account before finalizing your account setup, your money will be reserved until we activate it. If we have to close your account, your money will be sent back to your bank account.
Filling out the form
Please note that the ID document details in the ID section are filled automatically and taken from the latest identification document you have verified.
If your document has expired or your name has changed, you must first verify a new, valid identification document. To do this, go back to Settings >> Personal details >> ID verification to upload your new document, OR select the ID verification button from the KYC page.
Once your new document has been verified, you can come back to complete the KYC personal data form.
Why do I have to complete the KYC form?
This KYC questionnaire helps us collect information essential to your account, such as your occupation, proof of your source of funds, etc. The KYC information you provide complies with the European Commission's Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing directive that protects your account, personal data, and investments. The KYC questionnaire is a legal requirement. Rest assured, we will process your personal data strictly according to Bondora's Privacy Policy.
You can log into your account and click on the account setup banner at the top of your screen. Then, follow the verification prompts to finalize your account verification.
Once you've completed your verification and we've finalized your account, you'll be able to enjoy all the benefits of being a Bondora investor.
Please note: If you don't complete the KYC form, we may be forced to close your account.
