Business or strategic risk refers to changes in the marketplace or competitive landscape that may affect Bondora’s profitably. Reputational risk is the risk that Bondora may be the subject of negative publicity stemming from a breach of applicable regulatory requirements, among other things. Bondora's management is aware of the scrutiny of and interest in its operations by regulators, special interest groups and members of the public.
Bondora seeks to be transparent in marketing its business; takes steps to ensure its operations are in compliance with all applicable legal requirements; and cooperates extensively with regulators when entering a new market and during consultations regarding proposed regulatory changes. Bondora's business, strategic and reputational risk is managed by its Chief Financial Officer.
